• Browsing history outside of checkout and order confirmation pages
• Any information from pages where the extension is not active

3. Information We Collect

Locally Stored Data

To provide personalized card recommendations, EarnMore stores the following on your device:

• The names of credit cards you add to your wallet within the extension
• Your rewards history, including purchase domains, order totals, and points earned or missed

This data is synced across your devices using Chrome's built-in sync infrastructure, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Anonymous Usage Data

To improve the accuracy of our recommendations and understand how the extension is used, we collect anonymous usage events including:

• Purchase category and merchant domain
• Which card was recommended and whether it was used
• Banner interaction events (e.g., whether a recommendation was acknowledged)
• An anonymous, randomly generated identifier created at installation

This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above solely to:

• Deliver accurate, personalized credit card recommendations at checkout
• Track your confirmed and potential rewards over time
• Improve the quality and coverage of our recommendation engine

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating and improving the EarnMore service.

5. Data Sharing

EarnMore does not sell your data. No data is shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Anonymous usage data is transmitted to secured servers to support the operation and improvement of the extension.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored data, including your card names and rewards history, can be deleted at any time directly from the Settings tab within the EarnMore extension. Anonymous usage data contains no personal information and cannot be linked back to you.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data associated with your use of EarnMore. All data transmissions are made over encrypted connections.

8. Children's Privacy

EarnMore is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and operational reasons. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of EarnMore following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
